Ultra Standard Distributors, located in Elmwood Park, NJ is the industry leader in distribution of Multi-cultural hair and beauty products with over 40 years in business. We are looking for a reliable Billing Coordinator to join our growing team.

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

The Billing Coordinator will report to and work directly with the Co-Op Manager as well as cross functionally with other departments. The billing coordinator will support the billing operations and coordinate with other departments to ensure accuracy of monthly billing. The billing coordinator must be comfortable working in a high pressure, deadline driven environment.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

• Prepare, process, send and track monthly invoices for internal and external billing purposes
• Ensure customers are billed accurately and reconciling account discrepancies
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues as needed
• Coordinate with the finance, sales and marketing department to ensure accuracy of billing information
• Maintain and update customer account information
• Compile financial information for sales analysis
• Follow company guidelines and billing procedures
• Assist Co-Op manager with special projects as needed

MINOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Filing, scanning, uploading, copying, business correspondence

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB

Education:

Bachelor's (preferred)

Experience:

Proficiency in MS Excel (5 years) Working with retail accounts (a plus)

Prior billing experience and data entry (a plus) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Efficient multitasking and time management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay: $55,695.00 - $60,000.00 per year
